Live This Week: My Paraguay Partners Are Joining Us For The Expat Money Online Summit

Over the past several years, Paraguay has become one of the countries I have spent the most time researching, visiting, investing in and helping families explore for themselves.

I believe Paraguay represents one of the most interesting Plan-B jurisdictions available today for families and investors who want to establish themselves in a growing economy, acquire real assets and position themselves while compelling investment opportunities and residency pathways remain open. 

Despite gaining immense global recognition over the past year, Paraguay remains a place where investors and families can begin creating international optionality (yes, even those of you who have not yet amassed millions or hundreds of thousands of dollars of investable capital).

Now, it's one thing to understand when a country deserves your hard-earned capital and/or your consideration as a Plan-B base…  but it’s a whole other beast to have the insider access and expert network needed to capitalize on the opportunities themselves.

Over the years, I’ve built relationships with some of the most experienced professionals on the ground in Paraguay. This week it’s time for my annual online event: The Expat Money Online Summit.

It all kicks off tomorrow at 8:50 a.m. Panama time … and you’re invited to join.

Markus and Fernando will both take the stage later this week to give us a high-level look at the respective Paraguayan markets where they operate: Asuncíon & Ciudad del Este. 

I have worked for both of these men for several years, consider them close personal friends, and over the last 12 months, our community has done an incredible amount of work with both of them.

Rental Income in Paraguay: Asunción’s New City Center, Villa Morra w/ Markus Amann.

Thursday, October 1st, 9:30 a.m. Panama time 

Markus is originally from Austria, but has spent well over a decade investing (closer to 15 years now), living full-time in and developing large-scale residential and commercial projects in and around Paraguay’s capital city, Asunción.

When it comes to understanding where Asunción is expanding, how the city is evolving, and how infrastructure, population growth, and real estate demand intersect, you would be hard-pressed to find someone with more firsthand experience than Markus.

During his presentation, Markus will take us inside the areas surrounding Asunción where some of the most interesting growth stories are beginning to unfold, as recently completed “growth-unlocking” infrastructure projects are changing the economics of previously overlooked areas. 

For anyone interested in understanding Paraguay real estate, this is exactly the type of insight I believe is so valuable: hearing directly from someone who has spent years with boots on the ground, actively investing, developing and watching these markets evolve in real time. Fernando’s presentation will take us east to Ciudad del Este, a city long known as Paraguay’s most important trade hub… a description that no longer comes close to telling the city’s real story.

Beneath the city’s outdated reputation, a much larger transformation is underway as new industries, expanding logistics networks, rising employment, and private investment continue rewriting the city’s growth trajectory. 

Fernando is directly involved in Ciudad del Este's transformation, and his completed residential projects across the city offer a preview of what the city's future will look like: bigger, more modern, and more internationally important.  

During his presentation, Fernando will break down why understanding where a city is heading is often far more valuable than looking at where it has already been, and how investors who recognize these early stages of development can identify opportunities created by time-sensitive market gaps.
